How to Apply
Eligibility and Fit
Grants support eligible organizations whose work aligns with our Donors’ priorities, contributes to their vision and shows potential for impact. The more compelling the connection between what you expect to achieve and our Donors’ vision, the stronger your request.
Determining Eligibility
The first step in the process is to review our Donors’ eligibility guidelines. If you have any questions about your organization’s eligibility, please contact our staff.

Registration
Accessing Our Portal
To apply, you must register and create an account on our online portal. After your registration is complete, the application process can begin.
Starting the Application Process
Letter of Inquiry
The application process begins with a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) found by clicking the New Application button in our portal. LOIs can be submitted at any time. Assigned program staff will conduct a preliminary review within 30 days of your submission.
Next Steps
Completing an Invited Application
If the LOI is of interest, you will be invited to submit a full application. This is your chance to tell us the complete story of your request. The application questions are general and without word limits.
We will use the information you share to create an Impact Data Table. This table will include measurable goals, and if a grant is awarded, you will report on this data across its lifetime.
Requests Under Review
Review Process
Submitted applications are subject to a competitive review process with multiple reviewers. Response time depends on several factors, including the number of requests under consideration.
If successful, you can expect to receive a grant agreement for review within four months of your final application submission. If program staff provide a suggested timeline, we encourage you to work within it.
